Yehuda Avisar
received his farriery training by working as an apprentice
for Mr. Charles Heumphreus at the School of Veterinary
Medicine, U.C. Davis, California.
Following his training,
he worked primarily of foot disorders and preventative hoof
care in foals. He obtained his veterinary degree from the
Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
Since then, he has been working extensively on foot
problems in horses and cattle as well as writing and
lecturing on hoof care topics. In this book he combines his experience from both
professional fields. |
